How do I place an order?
You have two options - you can click HERE and fill out our online order form. After receiving your order, we will contact you with further instructions on how to send us your images.  Your second option is to call us and place your order over the phone. Please fill out our contact request form and we will call you to take your order. If you like a specific sample image, please make a note of the sample name.  Please see our helpful information on Taking Pictures for tips and requirements.

As soon as possible, you should email your high-resolution photograph to us. Your photos can be emailed to fourstone@gmail.com. We cannot begin working on your order until we have your photographs.

Do I have to use one of your samples for my announcement?
No!  That's the beauty of custom announcements.  If you don't see one that you like, Perfect Pixels will customize one to your specifications.  YOU choose a color, sepia, or black & white photo.  YOU can choose one, two, three, or even six pictures for your announcement.  YOU pick the fonts that you like.  YOU pick the colors.  Of course, you can always use one of our pre-designed layouts.  The choice is up to you!

Can I special-order something that you don't offer?
Yes.  Just send us an e-mail telling us what it is that you want and we can work with you!  We will do everything we can to find what it is that you want.

Do the announcements come with envelopes?
All of our announcements DO come with high-quality envelopes.  The only exception would be if you order postcards.

I want to order birthday invitations but I like the design of one of the moving announcements. Can I use that design for my cards?
Definitely!  The design samples are broken down into their own categories for an easier viewing experience for our customers.  If you like a sample from another category, you are more than welcome to use that sample for whatever you want.  We are more than happy to do that for you.

Do I have to send you a digital picture or can I mail you a photo print?
Either one works!  You can either e-mail your image to us or mail us the hard copy (the actual photograph or the digital image on a cd or disk).  Click here for more info on how to take the best picture possible!

Can I use a photograph taken by a professional photographer?
You can, but with limitations.  Because we don't want to tamper with copyright infringement, we require that your photographer sign a form giving us permission to use their photo.  The same applies for pictures taken at a place such as Sears, JCPenneys, or Picture People.  If your negatives were included in your package, you now own the images and are free to do with them what you want.  If you are caught using a copyrighted photograph, the penalties may be upwards of $100,000!  Perfect Pixels will not be held liable.  Please respect your photographer and their livelihood by gaining their permission before using one of their images.  Thank you!

For those who live locally, we can take your picture(s) for you*, at an additional cost.  Click here for more info!

Will I have an opportunity to proof my announcement before the order is printed?
Yes!  When we have finished designing your announcement, we will e-mail you a link where you can view the image and verify that everything is correct. This will be your final chance to check for typos and make any changes. Once we receive your final approval, your announcements will be sent to the photo lab or printer. Once your order is submitted to the printer, we are unable to make changes. We always recommend that you check your final proof carefully, and if possible, have someone else look at it with fresh eyes to catch something you might have missed.

Do you accept credit cards?
We accept credit cards through PayPal.  You can choose to pay by check, money order, or through PayPal.  Please note that your order will not ship until your payment has cleared!

What kind of editing will you do on my photographs?
Our goal is to turn your everyday photographs into professional looking images. Each photograph is automatically edited to fix contrast, brightness, red eye removal, lighting, etc. In addition, flaws in the background are softened and removed and the photo is edited to highlight the most important features of the photograph - the people. If photos require extensive touch-ups, there may be a small restoration fee. To see samples of edited images, please click here.

If I want a black and white announcement, do I have to send a black and white photograph?
No, we would prefer a color photograph because it gives us more versatility when converting an image to black and white. However, if you only have black and white, or sepia prints, they will be fine to use for your announcements. It is almost impossible to convert a black and white image to full color - although in some instances a color tint can be added to the whole image, or to specific objects in the photograph creating a color accent. There is a $10 fee for color tinting an image.

For color borders, background colors and patterns, how close will the final color be to the color I see on my monitor?
Although the colors you see on your monitor will be very close to the colors that will be printed on your final announcements, due to the differences in calibration, everyone's monitor will show colors differently.

I preordered envelopes, but I don't know where my preorder number is. Will I lose my $20 deposit?
Not necessarily. Your preorder number was emailed to you when we received your order form. We also sent out a shipping statement along with your envelopes that also has the same preorder number printed in the top right hand corner. If you are still unable to locate your preorder number, please contact us and we will do our very best to locate your preorder number. We keep records of every correspondence that is sent out, including preorder numbers. Once we verify your address, the total number of envelopes that you ordered, payment information, and the date, we are usually able to locate your preorder number. If we are unable to verify any of those, then we regret that you will forfeit your $20 deposit.

Are the announcements glossy or matte?
For Photo Announcements printed on Fujicolor Crystal Archive Photo Paper, we can provide either. If you do not indicate a preference, it will automatically be printed on matte photo paper. The Oversize Photo Cards and Mini Photo Cards can be printed with a satin matte finish, or a glossy ultraviolet coating. If you do not indicate a preference, they will be printed with a satin matte finish. Photo Note Cards can be printed with a matte or a linen finish. The Folded Note Cards can only be printed with a satin matte finish. If you do not indicate a preference, your announcements will be printed with a matte finish.

Does your logo or name appear anywhere on the announcements?
Occasionally, we attach a small sticker on the back of announcements. With card-stock prints, our logo is printed on the back.

When will I receive my order?
You should allow at least three weeks from the time your payment clears to the time you receive your announcements.  If you need them sooner than that, there will be an additional $.20 fee per announcement plus a rush shipping fee.

Where are you located?
We are a small home-based business located in North Carolina.
